Annabelle Marie Madsen, age 76, of Tipton, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. She was born December 15, 1934, in Griswold, Iowa, the daughter of the late Leslie and Anna Inkhen Robinson.
She was united in marriage on July 12, 1953, in Wiota, Iowa, to Dallas Madsen, who survives of the home.
Annabelle was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in California, Missouri.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Scott Madsen of Toppenish, Washington and Dale Madsen of Irving, Texas; her daughter, Joyce Carter of Petaluma, California; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her sister, Geraldine Nelson of Mexico, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Madsen, her brothers, Harvey Robinson and Jesse “Jake” Robinson, and her sister, Dorothy Robinson.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at the Parent-Sorensen Funeral Home in Petaluma, California. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the VA National Cemetery in Dixon, California.
