News: Bonnie and Clyde is coming back to the big screen with a new version directed by Neil Burger, who most recently helmed Limitless.

Thoughts by TSR: Deadline.com says Burger is in talks to direct based on the book “Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde.” According to the website they say this version would be less romanticized than the 1967 film that starred Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway. I’m curious how many people younger than 40 have actually seen the Beatty version. It doesn’t seem to get much play on cable. It seems everyone knows of it, but hasn’t given the classic it’s time. I trust Burger. I’ve seen Limitless twice now and think it’s his best work. The big question is who will star? The couple’s actual age was 22. Everyone OK with Jennifer Lawrence taking over as Bonnie? Maybe Emile Hirsch can play Clyde. Where is Hirsch anyway?
